There are some things I think it’s important for you to know before visiting Thelo.

- We are a come as you are church.
We are not just saying that. You will see almost every style of dress from khakis and a t-shirt to a full three piece suit to a hair bonnet. Our focus is on you hearing the Word of God in community with His people.
- You are welcome.
Thelo is a multi-cultural church. We have families of various races that attend our church. Not only that, but we have single parents, married parents, foster parents, teens, toddlers, and empty nesters. We have individuals who are new to the faith and those who are well studied, but still skeptical. We’ll study together and grow in Christ together.
- We don’t have live music, yet.
As a new young church, we are looking for a choir or musician. Until then we worship using popular songs from the internet. Depending on the Sunday you might hear old-school gospel, contemporary Christian, or gospel-rap.
- We have a Bible for you.
Whether you choose to use the Bible on your phone, the one passed down to you through generations, or one of the ones we provide – we are going to dig deep in the Word of God.
- We have an online community, but we really want to see you in person.
You can watch us online, right now through Facebook Live or catch up later through our YouTube link. However, we really want to see your smiling eyes (because it’s hard to see smiles through masks) in our sanctuary.
- Speaking of a sanctuary, we HAVE MOVED INTO OUR OWN.
We are right off I-77 on Leesburg Rd., in Suite P. It’s a shopping center with plenty of parking, a room for Thelo Kids, and free WiFi. While we have free water bottles during service, if you need caffeine, there is a corner store in front of the parking lot. Bring your coffee or soda with you!
