Thelo Church

I have been working my way through the Bible this year. Let me tell you, it has been a crawl through some of these Old Testament books. However, I’m not sure I would have been able to do it with such insight and excitement if I hadn’t found The Bible Recap, a 365-day Bible reading plan by Tara Leigh Coble.

So, when she announced that she would be live in Charlotte – I bought my ticket – before they even went on sale to the public, and now I want to invite you.

The Big W’s:

Who: Thelo Women – members and regular attendees
What: The Bible Recap Live – a one-night Christian event in Charlotte, NC
When: Friday, October 4, 2024. The doors open at 6:00 PM
Where: First Baptist Church, Charlotte.

What is Thelo Church covering?

• Ticket to The Bible Recap Live – these are regular admission seats.
• One night at the Embassy Suites – there are two beds per room; please plan to share to help reduce the church expenses.
• Saturday morning breakfast – the Embassy provides a hot breakfast before checkout.
• Study AND connection—Our church’s three tenets are study, connect, and give. This trip will allow us to enjoy Bible study together and connect with other Thelo sisters!

What am I responsible for?

• Any merchandise you wish to purchase during the conference.
• Your travel to and from Charlotte – this will inlcude your ride and gas. The hotel has complementary parking, so there is some good news!
• Dinner and snacks on Friday night – the conference doors open at 6PM, so I’d suggest running through a drive through on my way up there.
• Any incidentals accrued during the hotel stay – you’ll need your own credit/debit card to cover any incidentals for your hotel.

I’m ready; what do I need to know before I sign up?

• I want all women to be able to come; however, Thelo can only fund those women who have committed to making Thelo their home church or attending regularly. If that is not you, but you want to join us on your own dime, reach out and I’ll share the details so we can connect with you there!
• The tickets are non-refundable. Please prayerfully consider all of the details before you commit. Do you have childcare for the night? Do you have transportation, or can you carpool with one of us? Can you get off work early enough to be in Charlotte by 6PM? Is someone able to feed your dog?
• I’ve pre-purchased tickets and hotel rooms for four additional women (four tickets and two hotel rooms) – so if you’re ready, it’s time to RSVP. The last day to sign up is Wednesday, September 18 at midnight or when all tickets are accounted for.
